Family Fun

We are really having too much fun with Tim, Shona and the pumpkin here. It was unfair of me to post an amusing but less than flattering photo of the pumpkin so, here is a better one.

I have often complained about my food photography and how I was at a loss as to how to improve it. Tim has come to my rescue! Yesterday we drove into town, made some crafty purchases and built ourselves a light box using this tutorial. Tim also taught me how to edit my photos properly but all I did to this photo was crop it.

In the cup is Nigella Lawson's Budino di Cioccolato which is like a chocolate satin cream. As usual, Tim and I were the only ones not to struggle with its richness, we're gifted that way. Should I post the recipe?

What else have we been up to? We went to the Junee Chocolate and Licorice factory where we bought their wares.

Oh the dark chocolate covered licorice and almonds!

Jossie begged for a cuddle.

Tim made his famous twenty ingredient bolognese and took this great photo of it.

Our friend Sonja came over for dinner which was lovely and she didn't mind us putting the food into a box and taking photos of it - I'm sure the novelty will wear off. I couldn't resist taking this photo.

And, to be fair, I'll post the pay back shot Tim took of me. I think, perhaps, we could find a better spot for the lightbox....a little higher off the ground.
