Dress-up week

When Jossie and Toby were little I didn't work so they only went to pre-school for one or two days a week. This was not good news for dress-up week because I always forgot. On Monday morning Bethany went to daycare as Bethany (she wasn't the only one not dressed up) but at least she had three more opportunities to join in the fun. Basically, all the girls go as fairies/princesses. The boys have a little more scope with all the superheroes, Sporticus and pirates. On Wednesday Bethany was a pink fairy and I tried to convince her to wear her nurses outfit today but she wouldn't be in it. She did break out though and wore Toby's Superman outfit!

The week back at work has been busy and we have done nothing greatly exciting. I watched the film of The Secret Life of Bees which was very good even though most of the characters were way younger than I remember from the book. I also visited Wagga's brand new Aldi! I realise that most of you will be pretty unexcited by that but this is our very first Aldi and I was very keen to see what they had. The shop was full of confused looking old people. Shopping at Aldi clearly needs preparation - you must have a two dollar coin for the trolley, bring bags, carefully navigate through narrow, crowded aisles, open-mindedly try new products and do your own bagging. Is it pathetic that Aldi excites me?

Tomorrow we will have real excitement.....the Junee Show ;)
