Tea with Mr Darcy

My Peter's of Kensington newsletter contained these mugs. I'm sure there are many women who would love to drink tea and dream of Mr Darcy - be honest. I'm just not sure that the cheap, orange and cream Penguin book cover is the way to invoke him. There is a lady in one of the book clubs at my library who says she never likes any book in orange and cream. I confessed that I had bought a few Penguin titles for the book club, after all, they are nice and cheap meaning that I can buy more books with the budget. Truman Capote's In Cold Blood was one of them. She said that she could never read a book by someone named Truman either. There is no pleasing some people.

When I was at Chatsworth House last year, not only did I have my photo taken with Mr Darcy's marble bust, but I bought Mr Darcy writing paper. He isn't even my favourite Austen hero, that title goes to Mr Knightly. Who is your favourite?
