One way that I thought I might encourage myself to update the blog regularly is to take random photos of my day. Of course this is when I am reminded of what I will call my camera's shortcomings, it doesn't take very good photos. I think I need Megan's tutorial. This is my desk at work.
It isn't always that messy. Sometimes it's much messier. I'm writing a talk for History Week in September. The theme is scandals, crime and corruption, plenty of scope there.

I had lunch with my friend Karen in the park. I rang her this morning to make sure we had matching bags.

On Wednesdays I only work until three so I pick up Jossie and Toby from school and we go to daycare to get Bethany. She looks forward to ballet day with unbridled excitement.

And she dances with blurry joy.

Today I paid for the costume that Bethany will wear in the big extravaganza at the end of the year. Apparently she will be dressed as Josie and the Pussycats, tutu style. Can't wait to see that.
I'm not sure about this random photo idea. I was so bored writing this post that I watched half of The Librarians - it hasn't improved.
