Gingerbread House

Jossie, Bethany and I made our very first gingerbread house! We made the gingerbread on Saturday, it was both easy and fun. The suggested cooking time is way too short and while I did cook it for longer, some parts are a little under done. Still, when we came to put it together on Sunday afternoon it all worked perfectly. I am so pleased that I bought the mold and plan to make at least two more this year and can make them every year from now on!

Jossie did most of the decorating herself because we gave it to her teacher.

I just had to take this photo of Bethany's hair. It had been up in a bun, of all things. Who would have thought a bun would have this effect? She was very enamoured of it but it is a little bit too 'JonBenét ' for me.
