Off to Albury

It would be an understatement to say that when I was at school I was not what you would call sporty. I'm not sure why I bothered with 'when I was at school' either because nothing has changed. I enjoy watching the Olympics in moderation but not all the time for weeks on end. I watched the ABC's Sunday night offering in our bedroom because Andrew found it unbearable. I didn't enjoy it much myself, actually but I needed a no sport night. Tomorrow, however, I am sacrificing a day at home with Bethany, cleaning the house in order to share with Jossie a real, live sport day - she is representing her school in the high jump at the BIPSA (I hadn't heard of it either Border Independent Primary Schools Association) sports carnival. This is an exciting event! Andrew was very good at sport but this sort of thing is new to me. Jossie and I have to be at the school at 7.30 am (!) and will travel by bus to Albury, an hour and three quarters away. We won't be back until a quarter to five and I will be taking books with me because I really can't imagine filling all those hours with sport. If I don't crash straight after Spicks and Specks tomorrow night I'll post photos for you.

I really need to get an earlyish night so I can't, as much as I would love to, finish posting my photos of Edinburgh. I will, however, just post one little photo as I couldn't do an all text post. This is me standing outside Tim's favourite tattoo parlour when I really wanted to be in there getting an Aslan tattoo of my very own. I think Andrew, Mum and Granny are all relieved that we weren't in Edinburgh for longer. But I'll be back!
