The birthday fun goes on....and on
On Wednesday morning we woke up way too early for the holidays. Toby's friend Liam was dropped off at a quarter to eight! He and Toby had a great day of playing handball, in the park, the wii and gameboys. Jossie joined in when she felt like it and Bethany played babies. She is clearly the kind of mother who puts all the effort into making herself look great, check out the gold shoes, and none into her children....who are naked.

In this shot the baby in a backpack is face down on the floor. Still, she had good reason - presents! There was a knock on the door and it was the package man. I love the package man. Thanks Uncle Mal, Aunty Marlee, Alannah and Jordy!!

Not only has Bethany gone all maternal but she has gone all domestic too. I wandered into her room and found on the table a cup filled with daisies that she had picked outside.

Jossie has struggled for most of the year with the decision of what sort of birthday party to have. She could have a party for a couple of hours with lots of people, at Airborne Gymnastics or Noah's Ark, or she could have a couple of friends over for an all day party. She went for the all day party but somehow a couple of friends turned into four. It is quite a job to amuse five nine year olds all day. First, they opened presents (we were still waiting for one more girl at this stage).

Then we made rocky road which they wrapped up to take home (the pieces that weren't snaffled up during the day that is).

We went to the movies to see Kung Fu Panda, made stickers with this brilliant kit we bought in London at Hamleys and hung around at the park.

Bethany ran off with the fruit, she is very possessive of food, where does she get that from?

Five girls all sat on one couch to watch Hairspray.

Jossie chose nachos for dinner......

and brownies with icecream for dessert.

I'll tell you something, I slept well!
