I didn't wake really early this morning! Thanks to Mim we were able to stay up lateish last night and break the cycle of early to bed, early to rise. We watched Persuasion which had been on the ABC on Sunday night and I taped it as we were so tired. It isn't as good as the older BBC version, but I still loved it. We were very attached to the new Captain Wentworth by the end and thought the new Anne was good, if a little young, and the fish faces she was pulling before the kiss at the end were most off-putting. Speaking of kissing, we all watched the old Colin Firth Pride and Prejudice last weekend and were most surprised when Bethany became fixated with the kiss at the end. She keeps asking to watch "that kissing thing" and here she is doing what they do.

This afternoon Bethany and I are going to Abigail's first birthday party. It is a teddy bear party and this is what I have been doing all morning.

So, to continue going through my photos, this was taken in Oxford. I certainly hope they have a new public library because this one has been turned into a museum. I love libraries enough to include this photo even though I look a least 8 months pregnant in it.

A short drive from Oxford is Cally and Aunty Bunny's house in the Cotswolds. Soon after we arrived Cally took us over to Diana's house in Lower Slaughter for drinks with Jane, Glyn, Ian and Alda. Andrew took this family shot.

And Alda took this one. I will add that Cally was not the only one drinking. We all had drinks we just left them at Diana's.

While the weather was sunny we took photos of Aunty Bunny's glorious garden - she does it all herself!
Icomb is a tiny village and has no shops, Stow-on-the-Wold the closest big village and has the stone equivalent of Lavenham's crooked houses.
