WINGS

It is a terrible name isn't it?! WINGS, for a women's conference! In our defence we didn't choose it, it already existed. It stands for Women In Gospel Sharing and it is a conference that the women of our church put on for the women of the region every two years. It is rather a big deal to organise and I purposely booked our trip for after the conference so that I could, as usual, be on the committee. What I didn't realise is that having such a big event just two days before we leave has made it a very busy time! It was all worth it, however, as the day went really well. There were 230 women from all over the region, the speakers were excellent and we all had a wonderful time.


So, only two sleeps to go! I can't believe it, really I can't. It has been nine years since Andrew and I went on a holiday by ourselves and much longer than that since I went overseas. Tomorrow will be a very busy day and we leave Wagga early Monday morning so this may be my last blog before we go. I'll try and post something soon after we arrive in London but remember it takes a VERY long time to get there! I'll leave you with a photo of Bethany's hair this morning....it didn't look like this when I got back from WINGS!
