Knitting Nancies

Jossie and I had a wonderful time with Chrissie and Lizette learning to knit - we've caught the bug! Jossie is making a little purse and I am, predictably, making a scarf. I'm not sure about the size and the colours I've chosen. I might start again, but, as I said to Joss, it is a fun thing to do so it doesn't matter if you have to do it for longer. You can see Jossie's excitement in this photo. (It was lime slice on the plate above.)

When we were heading off to the park the other day Toby couldn't find his scooter. He realised that he had left it at the park two days before! Now, I held out little hope for it's still being there, but it was so sad when Toby realised it was gone. Jossie decided to do a poster for him and she stuck copies up around Estella. Today, at work, I had a call from a little boy saying that he had found the scooter! Thanks Jossie, I would have just given up on it, great job!

Remember when Bethany was wondering whether God used a hammer when he made her? Tonight she wondered whether he eats dinner and "Does (pronounced dooze) God wear a white shirt?"
