The fun continues

I was in such a hurry to post last night that I ended the tale of our day only half way through it. We actually had a great afternoon cooking and reading the paper. This is Bethany making chocolate gingerbread with me while Mum and Andrew work on the smh crossword.

We had satay chicken for dinner which we ate in front of Doc Martin. The quote of the show was "Osteoporosis and sex on the kitchen table do not mix". Mum made some fabulous rocky road with Turkish delight in it - so good.

Today we were on welcoming lunch after church, which is why we were doing lots of cooking yesterday. We had 11 adults and ate porchetta, potato gratin, salad and the chocolate gingerbread. It was lovely to get to know a few people better. Tonight Mum has whipped up a fabulous concoction with spinach, bacon and the purple potatoes. Tim was very interested in the potatoes - they do look gorgeous.

Tomorrow I am back to work and Mum and Dad are going to take Joss and Tobes to the movies. I'll leave you with a shot of Bethany playing with Eeyore and Mumma's sunglasses this evening.
