Girls
The other day Jossie, Bethany and I were watching The Princess Diaries. We were having a lovely, girly afternoon.Right at the end, when Anne Hathaway, the most beautiful girl in the world, is dancing in a gorgeous ballgown, Bethany's face lit up and she said "He is beautiful!"(we're working on he and she). I corrected her, of course, and told her that she was beautiful too. She said "Maybe I can dance too" and proceded to twirl in front of the television.
Not five minutes later I went in to the hall and found her leaving her room with a blue mouth, teeth and all, and blue all over her arms and legs. I did not quite have the presence of mind to get a photo, I was concerned with getting the blue off the carpet, but I did manage to get a photo once she was in the bath and we had scrubbed most of it off. She had gone into Toby's room and found a Crayola texta that is a star stamp. Stars everywhere.
I have made some fabulous food this week and have been so keen to eat it that I have forgotten to take photos! The chocolate Marsala cake looked delectable, sorry I forgot to take the photo! I made mirin-glazed salmon, roast chicken and this chicken pie from the leftovers.
Liam is here playing with Toby today and while Bethany was in her room "resting" Jossie and I went into town. I'm making morning tea for work on Monday (we all take turns to provide Mondays' special morning tea) so we went to get ingredients and Joss wanted to get some books from the library. She got a few Tiara Club and Princess School books and I got this.
I have lots of books to read at the moment but this is the loveliest cover I ever saw, so I borrowed it. It reminds me of this peice of artwork Joss brought home from school last year. I just love blossoms.
