Friends
We have been meaning to have Eden for a sleepover (sadly they do not seem to be called slumber parties anymore) ever since Jossie's birthday last July. Last night we finally did it. As dictated by tradition, there was less sleeping than a usual night would hold. I went to check on them at ten to eleven and they were still chatting. They had lots of fun in the afternoon acquainting Eden with the wii. Being girls, the most enjoyable part was setting up a mii for Eden. Your mii is the you who plays the games on the screen. You make it look just like the real you. I wish I could put them on here for you to see because mine is very cute. Jossie's changes all the time as she loves to give herself new hair, eye shadow and make herself taller. Last year when Phil got a wii for his birthday, I remember having so much fun playing with Dad's mii, giving him kissy lips and blue eyeshadow to go with his beard!

Andrej, Alice and Andrew came over for dinner and Bethany and Andrew played beautifully. Andrew is getting a baby sister in March and he is desperate for company. He slept in Toby's room and talked Toby's ear off. Being a very long, and unfortunately one-sided conversation, Andrew had to come up with many topics to discuss. At one point we heard him ask "Do you love cows?"

The girls finally went to sleep and were up bright and early this morning. We took Eden home after lunch and have organised a time for Jossie to sleep at Eden's which will be the first time she has slept at a friend's house. This last picture was taken this morning. Bethany's hair had been up in what we call baubles and when we took them out this morning her hair was curly. Here she is admiring the effect.
Bethany was doing some ballet for me, she has just the figure for it, so I dug out Jossie's old leotard and tutu. Very elegant.

After dinner we played the wii with A & A (I know it sounds as though we do nothing else!!). They are both pretty good. I tend to be a bit better at wii sport than I am at real sport, but that isn't saying much. Generally I am rubbish but I was pretty pleased with myself for knocking Andrew out in boxing! This is Alice and Andrej boxing.
