Somuchtosaysolittletime

Book week 2007 last week. Toby went as Superman and Joss as Emily Eyefinger.. This character is a current favorite of Joss. Born with an eye on her finger, Emily is a sort-of, young detective I suppose (I haven't actually read the books)... I can think of many jokes, all disturbingly inappropriate, so I'll move on to something else.

Joss performed piano in the Wagga city eisteddfod yesterday. She received a 'highly commended' which she was thrilled with. Despite being quite nervous, she did well. There were some impressive kids in her section; it was encouraging to see such a good level of musicianship which the examiner also acknowledged. I took the camcorder so I could show Amy later, but was so nervous myself that I forgot to record it...

The other notable highlight since I last posted is that my sister Flip, her 3 winkets and my Mum flew down to Wagga for a few days visit. It was lovely to spend some time with them and get to know the kids a little better. 6 cousins all making themselves known to each other and us in their own various special ways... I think they had a great time. I took them all out to our friends farm where they got to feed some lambs and have a long ride in the back of a ute around the farm...

I'm heading to Sydney for a wedding this weekend - I'm sure the traffic will excellent. Anyone with any sence will be driving away this APEC weekend....
