Mesmorising
What is it about fire that makes us just stop and stare? I'm talking about controlled fire of course - the other sort makes you panic and run. This photo was taken at Amy's parents place where we enjoyed the warmth and artistic display of a good ol' bonfire. It was a great opportunity to play around with the camera and try some new things. I've posted a few photos on Flickr if you want to look.
Well school is well and truly back and work in full swing too. The kids had their athletics carnival the other day and cross country today. Neither Joss or Tobes had a great deal of success, however Toby did get a ribbon for coming third in his 70m dash. He would have done better, however he kept on looking around to see where his competitors were.. Joss only just missed out on a ribbon in discus and high jump and came about 5th or 6th in her sprint. She did however look the prettiest while running - and as we all know, that is by far the more important thing.
Amy spent last weekend in Sydney for a work thing, and then got to hang out with her family - this meant some time alone with the kids for me, which was lots of fun. We've got a busy schedule for the next month or so - I've got a pretty big concert coming up and some BIG work projects to hurdle - and that's just me... But none-the-less we are very much looking forward to the little Soup arriving (my Sis and Bro-in-law's bub) in the next few weeks. Bring it on!... (safely of course)
