Tumut Weekend

Once again this year we headed to Tumut for the annual Tumut Christian Convention. Amy and I helped with the creche, and I did the music for the older kids too. We got copies of the talks and suprisingly got paid too.. The kids and I got to perform one of my songs for everyone at the convention - great fun to see a couple of hundred people singing along and doing actions to one of my new songs... may end up selling a copy or two yet ;) Saturday arvo saw Amy and Beth relaxing and sleeping while Joss, Tobes and I headed with a whole bunch of others to swim in the Tumut river. We spent all afternoon there, it was very cool. On Sunday we came home in the arvo, more swimming, then watching of cricket, then sleep.

Today was a bit manic. Started at 6am. Beth spent her first day at her daycare and loved it. Toby went to daycare, Joss to a friends, Amy and I to our respective workplaces - then all back home for a combined birthday party for 2 kids and 3 adults... 10 adults, too many kids, much food, drink and present opening. So now it's time to sleep. The photo is of Beth and a couple of buddies at the Tumut creche. NB: for those in the know - the socks on the hands have done the trick...
