Christmas 2005

I did well this Christmas... I chose to work it so as to get out of doing it for the next few - and I only had to see 5 patients. 2 hrs at work, only 1 call, most of the day at home with Amy, the kids, Mum and Dad and Steve & Jane. Quite acceptable!

The morning started with the usual excitement, then came presents, breakfast, church, home, more presents, lunch, playtime (for all), phone calls, dinner preparation, dinner, chatting, desert, chatting, pudding, chatting, and finally sleep.

It was nice to be at home - lovely to have Mum and Dad here, lovely to be able to spend it with Jane & Steve too. Next year we'll be able to make the journey north again, and we won't have to miss seeing the rest of our families - but it was a nice quietish Christmas for us - most acceptable...
