Ty 'n Sare's tour of Wagga '05 (plus other stuff)
Well it was lovely to see them again, if for only a few days... Sare and Ty wandered this direction before school heads back next week. Great to see them, photos of their trip OS, and fun to record music with them too. I had to work for a lot of the time, but they got to hang out with Amy and the kids a lot, and do a bit of shopping. As always, it is never wasted time!
Other notable events since the last post? Well, I took the kids to the annual 'Wagga Show', which is kinda like the Easter Show but on a reduced scale. There are horror stories of parents spending hundreds of $$ on their kids - rides, showbags, junk food, games, etc etc - however we managed to keep it to a minimum by packing dinner and limiting rides and showbags. The kids had a ball!! They rode on miniture horses, went on the ferris wheel, rode on the teacup rides (lots of spinning), put pingpong balls in Disney character's mouths, held a crocodile, patted farm animals, watched "men on angry cows" (rodeo) and finally ate... but didn't like... fairy floss (which Joss calls Candy floss... hmmm...). Anyway, it was fun.
I've been travelling around the region alot - the country looks beautiful at the moment. We've had so much rain, everything is alive... even our garden looks fantastic, the vegies keep on having to be used else they are wasted...
Joss returns to school next week - Toby will miss her lots I bet, Amy too but possibly less so. Bethany continues to be fun - she parrots a lot of words, and walks very well now. Amy also walks very well but could happily spend more time lying down asleep. She continues to amaze me with her constant dedication to our family, her friends, her involvement in church life, as well as somehow excelling at Uni...
I'll stop on that note....
