Back.. with a challenge

We're back from our short holiday to both our parents places. It was nice to get out of Wagga for a while and spend time with our families and friends. Toby developed tonsillitis on the first day, which made the first few days a little trying, but he got better and by the end of our trip we almost started to feel like we'd had a holiday. We had a nice time at Wahroonga park with all our nieces and nephews and most of their parents, and it was lovely to see them interact.

Here's a few photos to fill you in...


Following the lead of oh-so-many other photographers... This is the trip up. Steve's driving with Tobes, Joss and myself in the car - Amy, Jane and Beth following. Stopped at the big marino for lunch and looked out its eyes...


We did a lot of things at 'Tahlee'. Joss drove the quadrunner, we saw a wombat close up, we did the necessary wine tastings, ate glorious food (gotta love potatoes cooked in duck fat...mmmm), watched movies, played pool, trivial pursuit, chopped down trees, got a bonfire roaring... and this is the photo I choose - I must be expressing myself!


Good fun seeing everyone at the park. Mal's got some great pics here but this is one I love. We don't get to see Flip, Rob, Holly or Brooke enough. This photo's a keeper.


Mal took us to Logosdor for the kids to have some fun and meet Waffle too. Joss and Tobes were a little hesitant but excited, and warmed up reasonably quickly. Mal gave them loads of stuff for the trip home (which came in useful!)


Beth wasn't so sure... Amy loves this photo!

As well as all that, we also visited Amy's grandparents, wandered around the shops at Hornsby, and just took it easy at my parents.


Toby spent a lot of time with Dad, and they seemed to have a great time.

Oh.. the challenge? We've been told to blog more... we'll see what we can do eh?
