Happy Birthday Tim!
Happy Birthday to my little brother all the way away in Scotland. We miss you and can't wait until you get back.
We have been watching Shrek 2 on DVDV (as Toby calls them). The Far Far Away Idol bit at the end is very funny, Prince Charming sings that old song 'I'm too sexy' remember that? Well, last night Jossie told me she was too sexy for her baked beans - I'm not sure how to respond.
I read this the other day - The November 19th issue of "Entertainment Weekly" features an article by Stephen King entitled "Dozen Thanks," which is a list of things he's thankful for. He wrote the following:
"I'm thankful that Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, by Susanna Clarke, was almost as good as its lyrical first reviews...but it's not Harry Potter for grown-ups, as so many of them said. Harry Potter is Harry Potter for grown-ups, you dweebs."
Now I stopped reading Stephen King books when I left school, but I heartily agree with this statement. I do realise that a comment from an American horror writer is a pretty poor basis for justifying my excessive attachment to Harry!
