The adventures of Disinfecto
Well, 'adventures' might be overstating it a bit. Make fun of my Glen 20 if you wish, but I seem to have contained the illness haven't I? And what is a little dermatitis from washing my hands every two seconds, if it keeps my family from getting sick? With the gastro adventure well and truly over, what else have we been up to? Pretty normal stuff really. Went to Coles and discussed hairdresser guilt with my friend Bronwyn. She ran into her hairdresser and said that she always feels bad about not putting much effort into her hair. I hate it when I run into the hairdresser I no longer go to and feel like I have to explain why. Hairdressers should be made to shop somewhere else.
Bethany had her second lot of needles (meant to be at 8 weeks but she had them just before she was 12 weeks). This was, of course, more painful for me than for her. She forgot all about it as soon as I picked her up. She has done a fair bit of laughing, but only when I tickle her, she doesn't seem to think I'm very funny yet - she'll come around.
Joss and Tobes had a day at daycare, Toby completely covered himself with paint. He really loves daycare but hates it when one of the teachers holds Bethany while I pack their bags - he's always worried someone else is going to keep her. After having a long sleep in the afternoon he had trouble going to sleep at night and I kept seeing a little arm poking out of his room with Woody or his crab dancing at the end of it. I took some photos and when he realised that I wasn't angry with him for still being awake (it was too cute) he got his camera and took a photo of me.
Joss made a map of Australia out of her toasted sandwich, she was very proud of it. I wasn't particularly proud of her when I commented on Toby's tiny bottom at bathtime and she said that hers was small too, but that mine was really big, which she demonstrated by putting her arms out as far as they would go!
We are all enjoying bunny sitting for the Wilsons. Binny is a very cute bunny, though I am a little less keen on him after chasing him around the backyard for half an hour - he is very hard to catch.
The bunny may be evil - we're looking into it.
I'll leave you with Toby's version of Row row row your boat, as sung while getting into his pyjamas.
Row row row your pants
Genty (sic) down the pants
Merrily merrily pants
Like a down a pants.
