Update
Bethany will be three weeks old tomorrow. My theory is that because she was the hardest to give birth to, she has to be the easiest to look after. So far she is complying. I am having to wake her to feed in the middle of the night and again in the morning. When you have had some decent sleep at night, you can cope with everything so much better. I have, of course, had lots of help from Andrew, so things will get harder next week when he goes back to work - especially when he is working until 10pm. We have also had lots of help from our friends, especially with meals - thank-you!
Jossie had her birthday party on Saturday. Having had this party at McDonald's where they supply absolutely everything and have to do all the cleaning up, I'm not sure I'm ever going to want to do one at home. There were ten little girls and Toby at the party. They had their faces painted, played party games and ate. Toby mostly focused on the eating. He was quite skinny for a while after a few illnesses but he has bulked up now! We'll post photos of the party when we get the right equipment for getting them out of Dad's camera.
So there you go, life is less chaotic than it could be for us. Bethany is beautiful and Jossie and Toby are growing up so fast and being very helpful. Not that I wouldn't like to be doing what Mum and Dad just got back from doing (travelling in Europe) or what Tim is doing now (eating up in the US, then working in Scotland)...... just for a little while anyway.
