My turn to post
I haven't posted anything for ages. When I have uni work to do I can either get it done, do something else profitable or waste time. Of course I have been wasting time. Anyway, I am under some pressure here to pull my weight and write something so I'll let you know what the kids and I have been up to.
I did get two uni assignments done. Mum and Dad gave me a blow torch as an early birthday present when they were here, so I have been looking up different creme brulee recipes (please send me any good ones you know of). I am indeed the size of a house, but pregnancy is a fabulous time of over indulgence, I'll deal with the excess weight later.. really I will... why don't you believe me?
Joss has been going to ballet lessons. She looks so gorgeous in her pale blue leotard and tutu. I had a suspicion she might enjoy the lessons because the studio has a mirror wall and she really does like to look at herself. Andrew has started reading The Enchanted Wood to her. It is the first long book with hardly any pictures that she has been read, and she is loving it. She has even started wanting to read and write herself. She tries to sound out the title of each page in her kids' Bible.
Toby is also growing up rapidly. It is a little bit sad actually, he has stopped using his made up words for things. He called himself 'Bobby' for so long that I suggested we change his name to Robert and call Pippin Toby when he is born (we still don't have a boy's name so I am convinced this baby is a boy). But, Toby can say Toby now so we still have to come up with another name. He also calls bananas 'nanas' instead of 'le', and, most of the time, asks to get down instead of 'loll'. It is lucky we are having another one because our kids are getting so grown up.
So, that's what we have been doing. I really need to get into some uni work because I have two more big assignments due in the next few weeks and three lots of visitors. This may mean I don't post anything else for ages, but I will endeavour to use the more productive method of procrastination.
