A relaxingly busy day...

Well finally!....

Just kidding around - the desire to help around the house is for some reason really important at the moment, so we comply with her wishes. It may not save us a lot of time, but she's happy, and learning....

This morning I let Amy sleep in (I'd love to say I'm always that generous but I'd be badly lying). Once she was up and feeling refreshed, I got to doing a little more work on our very new church website , practiced music for church tomorrow, made some calls and then we went out for lunch. We met up with friends at the Botanical Gardens, let all the kids muck around on the play equipment, then had a little stroll around the small zoo they have there... Good fun, nice lunch... mmm chicken.

After coming home, Amy and I worked hard outside - we really need rain badly.. the whole town is looking dry... you can water and fertilize all you like, but nothing really substitutes for a good downpour. The poor farmers too - there is one particular family at church that are really struggling - at least they have an entire church praying for them... Anyway - I digress... Then I took a photo of Amy and the Tobes that I think I'll carry around with me... One of those you occasionally catch, no posing, no setup...

The daylight faded, kids were fed, bathed, read to and plonked into bed - we had dinner, watched 'Law and Order - Criminal Intent', and here we are.... quite content... Joss wandered out for a drink, told me she'd perfected her wink - so I froze it in time.... bring on tomorrow.
