They'll send you grey...
I found a couple of grey hairs in my goatee the other day... I shouldn't be surprised. During 2003, Toby hit his head more times than I can remember, caught the city library lift with strangers and walked out of the place alone, got stung by a bee, got tonsillitis, ate stuff you probably shouldn't and walked into walls on an almost disturbing number of occasions. Joss had her fair share of bruises too, but we're finding that the worries for her are now more diverse... For example - Most kids she hangs with she loves and gets on with well, but there is one little girl she plays with regularly who is very similar to her and they often clash... Now as parents, do we just reduce contact to a minimum or nothing, or do we persevere and hope they'll get over it?... Is it damaging in anyway for either of them or a good learning experience about tolerance and friendship?
Toby starts daycare tomorrow - we're a little nervous for him, but we think he'll love it. As for me - I'm off to find some scissors...
