Pool time....
Well... the options were: a) go to 'the Oasis' which is bound to be overcrowded by locals looking for relief from this ridiculously hot weather, b) move to another part of the world, c) stand by an airconditioning unit either at home or some shopping complex or d) buy a mid-size inflatable pool, and soak in it in the privacy of our own back yard.
Option D won out, and the cost of feeling normal on a hot summer day is apparently $49.95. The kids have fun, it's not much different from a real pool for them - as for Amy and I, it's proven to be the next best thing. Ahh.. the serenity.
Amy is going to see LOTR3 tonight - she's primed, and she'll unleash all feelings in a subsequent post...
