Apparently fat zucchini's don't taste good...

We had a very productive day today. After much measuring and playing with power tools, the old eyesore of a clothesline is gone and a new one is up (out of view).... Carl (workmate, but more importantly golf partner; also owner of anglegrinder), his wife Teena and their 2 kids Amy and Callum came around for while - we gave the kids dinner, we chatted, kids played, clothes dried... all very domestic and neighbourly...

Wayne from next door also gave us a world record size zucchini... pity we don't like them much, although Amy muttered something later about fritters... substitute cricket bat was my line of thought...
